This 1911 came in looking like it was run over by a truck then thrown down a hill a few times. Gouges, scratches, a pealing finish, bash marks. The client needed help to restore it to daily use with much-needed upgrades! We installed a new trigger, hammer, safeties, grips, barrel, barrel bushing, pins, and springs. Many of the gouges were able to be removed fully with blending and mild reshaping. The client wanted the mat finish of Graphite and it fit this project very well! Test firing was a true pleasure of shooting a 1911 that is well balanced. The client was kept up to speed on the progress of the project with photo updates because we are very busy during the winter months and had to wait for parts!
