These brand new laser-cut Boat Letters were made from 3016-grade Stainless Steel by a local engineering firm. This customer wanted them coated to give them the best protection while out in the open seas with the corrosive salty sea air. Mc-160 CERAKOTE clear and our new Vapor-Koting service came into action, it created a delightful uniform profile of the steel panels then they were clear coated using a specific clear designed for raw steel. They will not tarnish, stain, corrosion won’t be an issue and should stay like this for the future with no maintenance at all. With items like this, it’s a no-brainer, it can also be applied over highly polished parts to lock in the shine with no maintenance afterward.
