I wanted a gun that was battle worn and had a familiar look to it. Greg Wohler at Valkyrie Combat gave me a tour of his custom theme firearms that was made for Las Vegas Shot Show 2018. I was impressed with his use of colors and to match the superhero themes. I mentioned that I was thinking about a video game inspired paint scheme and we both agreed on the Gears Of War franchise that had some nice combination. I let his creativity go to work and the finish product came out higher than my expectations. I am going to recommend Valkyrie Combat to anyone that is looking for a cerakote custom job. I am going to break down my AR-10 and see if we can do a HALO inspired theme.
