Cerakote Polar Blue is an amazing, medium-to-light tone metallic blue with just enough shimmer to give it depth.
*NOTE: This product comes with a catalyst and requires a 100 Mesh Strainer (SE-275).
Cerakote H Series coatings are durable, corrosion-resistant, and provide unparalleled levels of hardness and adhesion. These coatings are also resistant to most solvents and chemicals. The foundation for Cerakote H Series coatings is a unique ceramic technology that imparts both flexibility and excellent wear resistance to the final coating. Check out the Resources section for product application guides, technical data sheets and SDS information.

What do you use to thin Cerakote?
Answer from Admin
We don't recommend adding or removing anything from our coatings in hopes of adjusting the viscosity if it's too thick or thin. Doing so may jeopardize the performance and longevity of what we know our products are capable of. There are ways to mitigate coating from reaching a point of unusable status. The articles below provide information on Cerakote® shelf-life, storage and agitation to assist with longevity.

How should I etch Fiber Glass?
Answer from josh benton
There are two options to etch Carbon Fiber, Fiber Glass, Plastic, Polymers, and soft substrates.
1) Lightly sandblast with #100 grit Aluminum Oxide or Garnet Sand (between 30-40PSI) to give the surface a blasted profile.
2) Use a Red Scotch Brite pad to provide a suitable etch.

How much flex can Cerakote handle before cracking or chipping occurs? I am looking at possible Cerakoting my spokes on my dirt bike.
Answer from Admin
Our coatings can take up to 180° of flex before you see any type of adhesion issue. This is a standard paint test called the Mandrel Bend ASTM D522 test that we perform to all of our coatings. To see this information check the Technical Data Sheets to see all our testing data for the coating that you're looking for.
